At the end of last year Huawei unveiled in China the P50 Pocket, a foldable key interpretation of its latest flagship. It is a rather interesting phone at the technical level both for what it has and what it does not (it lacks 5G because of sanctions, for example) and that seeks to position itself as an alternative to Samsung’s Galaxy Z Flip.
At the time we doubted that it could reach the West given the tribulations of the manufacturer, but finally Huawei has been encouraged to bring it. In fact, it arrives alongside the more conventional P50 Pro, with high photographic performance.
The Huawei P50 Pocket is a folding type smartphone that is collected almost in the form of a compact. It has a 6.9-inch internal screen that can be used at different angles (the interface changes depending on how open or closed it is), as well as a small external OLED panel to display notifications and widgets.
By way of heart and in the absence of the classic HiSilicon Kirin, a powerful but no longer so fresh Snapdragon 888 signed by Qualcomm appears.

The RRP of the Huawei P50 Pocket will be high, especially considering that it uses Android but without Google services: it will cost €1,299 for its 8+256 GB version. There will also be a Premium Edition model with a differentiated look, 12+512 GB of memory and a price of €1,599.
Huawei P50 Pro: conventional design and Snapdragon 888.
The P50 Pro, meanwhile, was released in China last summer and now arrives in Spain. It is a high-end phone with a more conventional look, presided over by a 6.6-inch OLED screen at 120 Hz and a Snapdragon 888 processor. Its most notable aspect is undoubtedly the rear camera, co-developed with Leica. Composed of four sensors, it has a 50 MP main sensor, a 40 MP monochrome sensor, a 13 MP ultra-wide-angle sensor and a 64 MP telephoto sensor.
- Display: 6.6-inch OLED at 120 Hz and digitizer at 300 Hz, 2700 x 1288 pixels.
